Bioflush

To obtain optimum results and sustainable results, Bioflush should be added to the pit latrine or septic tank once or twice a month. By simply mixing the Bioflush with water (even dirty water or urine) and throwing it down the toilet. The bacteria and nature will do the work. Decomposition commences immediately.

Due to the fact that the product is totally nontoxic (approved by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry SA and USA) it can be delivered by personnel that are part of the community and with little training and no skills.

Recommended dosage:
Mix 200 grams of Bioflush with 5L of water per month per pit latrine or septic tank. If the pit latrine or septic tank smells, add one more dose, if smell abates reduce dosage.

CONCLUSION:

Pathogenically neutralized sewage has no offensive odour and can simply be used as a fertilizer for food or for non-food crops (bio diesel, shrubs, pasture, flowers etc.).

In pit latrines there are no heavy metals or dangerous compounds once bacterially treated. Nature uses the same bacteria to do the job.
