RESTARTER

A bio-tablet containing six billion new generation beneficial bacteria

Target: For use on crop residues as soil applied sprays or via irrigation and in compost heaps - a biological blend that promotes organic matter breakdown, composting, soil health and biodiversity.

PROPERTIES

6 Bacterial strains
Bacillus subtilis
Bacillus lichenformis
Bacillus coagulans
Bacillus clausii
Bacillus megaterium
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens
Total bacteria per Sg tablet 6x109 CFU's

APPLICATION

Compost heaps Use 1 x Sg tablet per Sm3 of compost and alternate with Natures Guard every two weeks. Dissolve 1 x Sg tablet in 100L lukewarm water and apply ± 20L per m3 of compost.
Crop residue on lands Use 4 tablets per ha - applied in a spray tank or via light irrigation. Dissolve 4 x Sg tablets in lukewarm water and add to the spray (200-400L/ha) or injector mix.
Orchard mulch Use 4 tablets per ha - applied in a spray tank or via light irrigation. Dissolve 4 x Sg tablets in lukewarm water and add to the spray (200-400L/ha) or injector mix.

If possible, leave the tablets to brew for 12 hours before use
Apply in late afternoon. If sprayed a light irrigation thereafter is recommended.

Benefits

  • As 1st level decomposers, the microorganisms get the composting process going and break down brown and green organic material.
  • Greatly enhance lignin, cellulose and enzymatic breakdown of organic matter.
  • Reduce pathogen load of organic matter/ mulch/compost.
  • Makes various minerals more available in soil when applied on crop residues or mulch, as well as in composts.
  • Colonization of the rhizosphere by some of these bacteria strengthens plant immunity systems.
  • Increase the temperature profiles and reduce odorous emissions of compost heaps.
  • Minimize initial lag time of the biological progression and accelerate the breakdown and composting processes.
  • Generates a compost with higher nutritional values and beneficial microbes.
