General Dosage Guidelines

  • CARBOTECH™ is ideally mixed with dissolved water-soluble fertilizer but works equally well as a separate application through irrigation, or via boom spray, or in furrow application or as a drench.
  • Always ensure that the irrigation system (especially drippers) is flushed after CARBOTECH™ application.
  • Consult with your chemical distributor, consultant or the registration holder should crop specific programmes, fertilizer reductions or any other information be required regarding the use of CARBOTECH™.

L/Ha/annum		 Split into 2-3 applications. 1st application in Spring, and thereafter every 6 weeks. Not less than 10L/ha per application. When used like this on citrus, the fertilizer applied may be reduced. Elemental fertilizer requirements may be reduced by a maximum of 10% for N, 50% for P, 25% for K, and 35% for both Ca and Mg.

Millet		 20 - 40L
L/Ha/crop		 Irrigated Crops: Split into 2-3 applications. 50% at start of vegetative phase, 30% at start of reproductive stage, and 20% at start of ripening stage. Not less than 10L per application. On crops with <200 kg elemental fertilizer applied or very sandy soils with <10% clay use only 20 L/ha.
5 - 30L
L/Ha/crop		 Dryland Crops: Apply all at planting or just after emergence. On very sandy soils with <10% clay or low input crops use 5 L/ha.
Patatoes 20 - 40L

Note:
Carbotech has been used in combination with Natures Guard to great effect. When used in conjunction with Natures guard, the Carbotech application should be between 40-100% of the Natures Guard application or as recommended by our agronomists
